TrueLook Launches IR Camera Series

Integrated IR allows for exceptional image quality, even in total darkness

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – August 31, 2020  – Winston Salem-based construction camera provider TrueLook announced today it has launched a line of infrared (IR) cameras, which enhance jobsite security by allowing monitoring to continue in any lighting condition, even complete darkness.

TrueLook’s IR cameras include both fixed position and robotic PTZ (pan, tilt, zoom) camera options. The camera’s IR range allows for illumination between 50 and 200 meters, depending on the camera.

“The integrated IR of our new construction cameras will be a great asset to customers wishing to increase the security of their jobsites at night,” said Roger Yarrow, TrueLook COO. “In a recent Jobsite Security Report  published by TrueLook, respondents noted that, overwhelmingly, most thefts happen overnight. With its built-in IR capability, your camera will perform significantly better in detecting nighttime events and documenting them with improved clarity.”

Earlier this year, TrueLook expanded its Intelligent Security offering to include customizable motion alerts for all of its cameras. The new IR line of cameras further supports the Intelligent Security capabilities.
