Project Highlight: 315 Buckingham Street Garage

Gilbane brought its expertise to the 315 Buckingham Street Garage project, a vital addition to Hartford’s downtown landscape. Completed between July 2017 and October 2019, this six-level parking structure was designed to support the growing needs of the neighborhood, offering 1,000 parking spaces and a new pedestrian bridge for improved connectivity. The project focused on both functionality and aesthetics, featuring a sleek, modern facade that blends with the surrounding architecture while providing a much-needed infrastructure upgrade.
Gilbane used a 1080p PTZ TrueLook Camera to keep a close eye on construction progress. The camera’s pan-tilt-zoom capabilities allowed project managers to track milestones, oversee site activity, and maintain accurate records. With real-time access to the jobsite, the team stayed on schedule and addressed challenges quickly, showing how advanced jobsite technology supports efficiency and accountability in modern construction.
